My STORY
I am a 9-year-old music enthusiast from Melbourne, Australia, and I would love to share with you the story of how my passion for music began. At the age of 6, I started learning myself how to play the piano, and before long, I was able to play it even while blindfolded!
MUSICAL CREATIONS
Composing music is another passion of mine. I began creating my own pieces at the age of 7, and now, I have a collection of over 70 original compositions that I am eager to share with the world. You may be curious as to why I haven’t shared them yet. Well, the reason is simple – my father and I are just starting to learn how to publish music online. But the wait is almost over – my first piece was published on August 30, 2023!
RARE ABILITY
By the way, did you know that I have a perfect pitch? That means I can identify musical notes by ear. It’s a rare and cool ability that my parents discovered and others confirmed it, all thanks to a video by Charlie Puth, who also has perfect pitch.
Musical PURSUITS
I like to compose music in different genres and periods, from Baroque to contemporary. Music is a way for me to express my feelings, thoughts, and dreams, and have fun. I also enjoy playing and learning different musical instruments, like piano, melodica, xylophone, harmonium, tabla, drums, harmonica, ukulele, and guitar.
And that’s not all. I also started singing in one of Australia’s best boys’ choirs when I was 8 years old. And I’m learning Hindustani classical music and Bollywood music too.
BEYOND MUSIC
Music is my passion, but I also like Maths, Science, Computer Programming (Python, C/C++), Arduino, and other subjects. I am an avid reader and learn new things every day. Thanks to the Smarty Kids VECE concept.
Musical HEROES
I admire classical composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, Karl Jenkins, and many others. I am also inspired by some of the best music composers from India and Hollywood. From India, some of my favorites include A.R. Rahman, Amit Trivedi, Pritam Chakraborty, Santhosh Narayanan, and Shankar Mahadevan. From Hollywood, I admire the work of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Alan Silvestri, and James Horner.
DREAMS
In the future, I aspire to continue expanding my musical knowledge and honing my skills. I have a wealth of ideas for new compositions and am eager to experiment with different musical styles and sounds. My goal is to produce great music, simply.
